B&W’s Far Northwest Suburban office is looking for a few good volunteers…and riders. On August 28, they’ll hold the 3rd Annual Charity Motorcycle Ride, benefiting the Food Pantries of Crystal Lake, Algonquin, Lake In The Hills and Carpentersville. There are four stops in the 150 mile ride, with door prizes, raffles, shirt sales and more at the final stop. Visit Far Northwest on Facebook for more information, bwcharityride.org or call Don Prigge at 815-788-2100. Good luck!
A recent food drive at Walmart for the benefit of The Crystal Lake Food Pantry netted the pantry 1,800 lbs of food and $300.00 in cash donations. Thank You to all the associates and family members who helped out on such a hot day.

Inspired by many requests from our Sales Associates, Managers and Support Staff -- the Baird & Warner Good Will Network is joining relief efforts to assist victims of the recent devastating natural and nuclear catastrophes in Japan. Between April 1 and April 30, 2011 all donations made to the B&W Good Will Network fund by sales and mortgage transaction contributions will be directed to the Red Cross.
Additionally, the company will match individual contributions from sales associates or employees dollar for dollar. In order to qualify for the match, all personal checks must be made payable to "The Chicago Community Foundation/B&W Good Will Network."
"Thanks for your outpouring of offers to help the victims of this international tragedy," said Steve Baird in making the announcement. "The messages of support for this effort from our team that I have received about this, once again show that we are a company comprised of people who care. We are all inspired by the grace with which the Japanese people have gone about trying to recover from this tragedy ... this is truly a lesson for the world in how to treat our fellow human beings."
Please submit all checks, along with an Individual Contribution Form -- to the B&W Good Will Network c/o the Marketing Department in the Home Office. Checks must be received by April 30, 2011. | |
