North Randall Rides for Charity

Our North Randall office's recent motorcycle charity ride raised over $1,300 for the Eckert Center for Mental Health!  Riders congregated at North Randall first thing in the morning before departing on a rally that stopped at five local establishments.  Riders picked up a playing card at each location, and the three with the highest hands at the end of the day won cash prizes.  Beautiful weather and a great turnout made for a successful event, congrats to everyone involved!

Fox Valley Bowls for a Good Cause

"A Random Rack of Kindness" was the theme for B&W Fox Valley's bowling fundraiser for Marklund on May 6. Through the involvement of realtors, staff and outside contributors the Fox Valley office raised $2,216 for Marklund, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping infants, children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Home Office Helps HOW with Holidays

Our Home Office donated $1,000 to Housing Opportunities for Women and adopted three families for the holidays, donating gifts such as clothes, toys and Dominick's gift cards for needy mothers and their children.

In addition, they filled and donated an additional 11 Christmas stockings!

North Randall Holds Holiday Toy Drive

The sales associates and staff of the Baird & Warner North Randall office participated in a toy collection drive for needy children on behalf of the 2008 Elgin Community Holiday Toy giveaway on Thursday December 18.

This large community toy drive helps approximately 900 families with 2500 children.  The sales associates and staff used their sphere mailings, telephone calls and Relationship Manager to ask for assistance in collecting toys during the drive.

The toys -- enough to help over over 50 children -- have been delivered for distribution.  The North Randall agents are also volunteering for the set-up and distribution of toys for this event.  Congratulations to the North Randall Team!

South Suburban Adopts Family for the Holidays

Sales associate Sherry Liang of our South Suburban office recently organized a very successful Adopt-a-Family holiday present drive through the South Suburban Family Shelter.

City North Gives Precious Gift

Donating perhaps their most precious possession, over 40 members of our City North office attended the branch's first annual "Save a Life Day" blood drive.  If three lives are saved by every single blood donation, many more families had reason to be grateful this Thanksgiving.  City North plans on holding another blood drive this coming summer.

B&W Palatine Fundraiser Nets $6,700 for WINGS

Our Palatine office's recent fundraiser for WINGS included a pie eating contest for sales associates and a pumpkin decorating contest for the kids.  They also held a raffle, a silent auction and a live auction for the big-ticket items.  In all they raised $4,700 and -- combined with their office's annual $2,000 grant -- were able to bestow a total of $6,700 to the organization.
