North Randall Holds Holiday Toy Drive
|
|
|
|
The sales associates and staff of the Baird & Warner North Randall office participated in a toy collection drive for needy children on behalf of the 2008 Elgin Community Holiday Toy giveaway on Thursday December 18.
This large community toy drive helps approximately 900 families with 2500 children. The sales associates and staff used their sphere mailings, telephone calls and Relationship Manager to ask for assistance in collecting toys during the drive.
The toys -- enough to help over over 50 children -- have been delivered for distribution. The North Randall agents are also volunteering for the set-up and distribution of toys for this event. Congratulations to the North Randall Team! | |

| Sales Associates Susan Angell-Case and Kerry Benton led a very successful Food Drive for our North Randall branch office on Saturday, May 5. Sales associates, staff, and family members stood in front of the Dominick's store in Carpentersville Dominick's and a Jewel/Osco store in Elgin for three hours collecting donations of food from the public. At the end of the day, over 50 boxes of food were packed and ready to be donated to two area food banks. When the office dropped off the collected food to one of the food pantry's they were struck to discover that the shelves were bare due to lack of local food drives. Pantry Manager, Joan Wesner, in a thank you note to the office, wrote "When Baird & Warner said they were bringing in donations, we had no idea how large it would be. As you aware, the shelves were bare with summer coming, it means higher numbers of people who need food as school is out and the children will not receive lunch at school. Your hard work paid off and now our shelves have food on them. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!" B&W North Randall had a wonderful time helping the local food banks and were pleased to enjoy the generosity of the area residents. | |

North Randall Event Hits Home Run (July 2006)
|
|
|
Our North Randall office raised some $1,000 for P.A.D.S. of Elgin at its annual Kane County Cougars event.
Organizing employees and Sales Associates held a 50/50 raffle as well as a raffle for gift cards to businesses such as Chili's and Home Depot. In addition, a portion of the 100+ Cougars tickets they sold went to P.A.D.S.
"We invited the whole immediate world," said Sales Associate Susan Angell-Case.
Those in attendance were treated to a pre-game barbecue in the B&W tent and, later, to a fireworks display.
"It was a riot. Every year it gets better and better," said Susan of the event, now in its fourth year. |

Debra Hall, Candace Richardi, Rebecca Brestan, Amy Galvez and Managing
Broker Don Prigge help the day of the event, but many also worked in the
weeks before potting plants and digging up plants from "donor" gardens.
The annual festival is one of
the most popular and productive events for the local shelter.

North Randall Pots Plants for PADS (May 2004)
|
|
|

Last
weekend, 16 members of the North Randall branch
volunteered at the Elgin PADS’ Mother's Day Flower and Garden Sale, which
raised about $6,000.
The
event for Public Action to Deliver Shelter also included a raffle of such
garden-related items as a weed eater, gloves and shovels.
Not
only did the North Randall team work the event, but several gave their time
prior to the event by potting plants and donating their own plants from
home. Sales Associates also donated items that were raffled at the event. |
