Chicago Coalition for the Homeless Receive $1,500 from Bowling Event (March 2006)
|
|
|

Lincoln
Park raised
nearly $1,500 for the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless at its Bowl
O’Thon in March.
The branch’s Good
Will Network committee held the event across the street from their
office at the Seven Ten Lounge, which donated the room, shoes and
bowling lanes. Baird & Warner Financial Services’ Loan Consultant Monica
Garver covered the cost of the food, so the charity would receive all of
the night’s proceeds.
Attendees were also
able to participate in drawings for gift certificates to local
restaurants and even a month of parking in the office lot! |

Lincoln Park's Annual Giving Tree Brings Toys & Joy to 65 Needy Kids (Dec. 2005)
|
|
|

Our Lincoln Park
branch
kicked off their holiday season with a “festive tree-trimming party” in
early December.
Sales Associates
and staff members decorated their annual Giving Tree with paper stars
that had the names of children who were staying at the Cornerstone
Community Shelter. Natasha O’Connor, a trainer in the office who helped
organize the event, said that “the stars practically flew off the tree
just as soon as they were hung. In fact, we had to call the shelter for
additional names of children at the request of participants in the
office.”
In the end, about
65 children had a brighter holiday thanks to the office’s efforts. |

Lincoln Park Good Will Network's Busy Fall (Sept. 2004)
|
|
|
|
Autumn’s
already been busy
for Lincoln Park’s Good Will Network.
First, the enterprising group organized a voter registration day at the end
of September. Sales Associates manned a table in front of the office and
ended up registering 25 people for the upcoming election. (photo

Then, earlier this
month, the office invited its charity, Chicago Coalition for the Homeless,
to talk during a staff meeting.
