Lake County Hosts Holiday Gala

Our Lake County Office held their 3rd annual Holiday Office Gala on November 19th.  Twenty five local vendors had their items on display for sale ranging from purses, jewelry, cooking, wines, and holiday decorations.  Champagne, food, and deserts highlighted the event that drew over 300 people. Hundreds of prizes were given away, and most importantly over $2,600 was raised for PADS of Lake County!

Libertyville, North Lake County Team Up, Raise $8,700 for PADS

By combining their efforts, our Libertyville and North Lake County offices were able to raise more than $8,700 at their bowling benefit for P.A.D.S. Crisis Services last month.

The two branches brought in thirty teams of friends, family members and clients to eat pizza, participate in raffles and play three games of bowling at Bertrand Lanes in Waukegan.

Lynn Flynn accepted the check on behalf of P.A.D.S., which assists homeless people throughout the area.

The fund-raiser was such a success that it attracted the likes of local newspaper The News Sun, which gave the event a huge spread in its “Our Town” section.

Libertyville GWN Gets "Fired" Up; Raises $5,300 for PADS (Oct. 2004)

Libertyville raised $5,300 for PADS at its Chicago Fire fundraiser in September.

Attendees paid $20 for not only a ticket to the game, but also a tailgate party, which included a hotdog dinner and Fire souvenirs. Pepsi and Frito-Lay provided soda and chips for the event.

More than 200 hotdogs were cooked on the four grills they had set up in the south parking lot of Soldier Field.

The office also sold raffle tickets for Fire memorabilia, so even if you couldn’t attend the event, you could still support PADS.

PADS, or Public Action to Deliver Shelter, is a nonprofit organization that has been providing shelter to the Lake County homeless since 1972.
