Before the holidays take over, mybairdwarner.com had to recognize our Downers Grove office for hosting 900 guests at its 13^th Annual Halloween Happening at the historic Tivoli Theater.

Sales Associates invited clients, friends and family, but the event was also open to the public.

Nearly 300 children, from infants to 12-year-olds, participated in the costume contest, with an additional 200 coming for the free movie, “Madagascar.” Special guests included Dora the Explorer and Officer Paddy from the Downers Grove Police Department.

Each child received a B&W treat bag at the end of the party.

Beth McInerney, event coordinator, said, “It is only through the support of the entire office that this event is so successful.”

Our Downers Grove branch raised $10,800 for the Good Will Network, Seguin Services and FISH at its second annual Customer Appreciation Night at the Tivoli Theater. 

Prior to a viewing of the film Multiplicity, customers were given a chance to bid on a number of items that were donated by local retailers. Silent Auction items included a week’s vacation in Florida, four days in Door County, golf packages, dinner certificates and tickets to sporting events and concerts. 

FISH is a food pantry and clothes closet that also provides financial assistance and transportation to medical appointments for those in need, serving Downers Grove, Lisle, Westmont, Darien and Woodbridge. 

Seguin Services provides housing and employment support for adults and children with disabilities and special needs.
